New Cumberland Lions set to hold pulled pork dinner
NEW CUMBERLAND – The New Cumberland Lions Club will hold a pulled pork fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 20 in the Swaney Memorial Library parking lot.
A pulled pork dinner will cost $6.50 and a pulled pork sandwich will cost $5. Coleslaw sandwich topping is an additional 25 cents. One-half chicken dinners are available for $7. One-half smoked chicken is $5.50. Both dinners include baked beans and either potato salad or coleslaw.
Chickens are limited; advance ordering is recommended. Whole pork butts are available for $22 by advance order only. To ensure receiving a chicken or order a pork butt, make an advance order by calling Lion Bob Manypenny at (304) 564-5055 by noon July 18.
Vendors sought for fair
WELLSBURG – The Brooke County Fair Board seeks vendors for the fair, which will be held Sept. 6-8 at Brooke Hills Park.

Preschool accepting registration
PARIS, Pa. – Little Village Preschool of Tri-State Christian Academy is accepting fall enrollment for 3- and 4-year-olds.
Classes include age-appropriate activities revolving around friendship, caring, sharing and fun while learning early math skills and reading readiness.
Class size is kept small and family activities and involvement are encouraged.
