Johanna (Janet) Grace Cattrell

CATTRELL, Johanna (Janet) Grace, age 79, of Lehigh Acres, Florida and Steubenville, Ohio, passed away suddenly May 21, 2013, at the Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio.

She was born May 25, 1933, in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Francis O. and Elizabeth Grace (Pierson) Wells.

Janet was a member of the Estero United Methodist Church of Estero, Florida; member of the Steubenville Country Club and the Westminster Country Club of Lehigh Acres, Florida. She was an avid golfer and shopper and was a graduate of Steubenville High School.

She was the former owner of the Tiffany Bakery in Steubenville and was an award winning self-employed insurance agent.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert L. Cattrell, who passed away May 14, 2013 and whom she married May 11, 1973; grandson, David Rasor; granddaughter, Rebecca Frisbee; brothers, Jack, Jerry and Howard Wells; sisters, Marjorie Wells and Joyce Wells Piatt.

Her survivors are: son, Richard (Sue Ann ) Rasor of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Wendy (Larry) Estep of Hilliard, OH; step-daughters, Christine (Robert) Hargrave of Wintersville, OH, Patricia Cattrell of Pittsburgh, PA and Barbara Lee Bresson of Toronto, OH; a brother, David (Patty) Wells of Glendale, AZ; grandchildren, Marla (Scott) Inderbitzen, Craig McCasland, Pam (John) Scanlon, Bob (Sharon) Power, Julie Power, Alyssa (Randy) Shaw, Brian (Dawn) Bresson, Christa (William) Garrison, Melanie Rasor, Amanda Rasor, Paul Frisbee, Elizabeth Frisbee, Jonathan Frisbee, Lydia Frisbee, Hope Frisbee, Tyler Estep and Lauren Estep; and 13 great- grandchildren.

Visitation hours for Janet will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 23rd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. Additional visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 24th at the Riverview United Methodist Church, Toronto.

A celebration service of Janet’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 24th at the Riverview United Methodist Church with Pastor Josh Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
