Clarence Halpny

HALPNY, Clarence E. (Red), age 90, of Gold Canyon, AZ passed away January 9, 2013 at Desert Winds, group home in Arizona following lengthy heart and lung conditions.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Janie; a brother George Ralph Halpny; a stepdaughter, Karen Pane; and a step-great-grandson, David LeBrun.

Clarence is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years, Marilyn of Gold Canyon, AZ; a daughter, Linda Allbright of Oxford, NC.; a son, James Sr. (Kathleen) Halpny of Dewey – Humboldt, AZ.; five grandchildren: Justin Dentry of Denver CO., Lygia (Mark) Brown of Colorado Springs, CO; Anne (Trevor) Howard of Chesapeake, VA; Belinda (Chris) Ivy of Anderson, SC.; James Jr. (Marguerite) Halpny, of Rising Sun, MD.; six great- grandchildren, Shannon and Sophie Brown of Colorado Springs CO; Shawn Ivy of Anderson, SC; Skyler Mosley and Kimberly Coggsdale of Chesapeake, VA; step-great -grandson Joshua LeBrun of Rising Sun, MD; two great-great-grandchildren, Brenda Coggsdale and Cameron Mosley of Chesapeake, VA; stepson, Kenneth Deurloo of Goteborg, Sweden; stepdaughter, Donna Deurloo of AZ; 11 stepgrandchildren and seven step-great- grandchildren.

Clarence will also be greatly missed by his several cousins, and many friends.

Services will be held at the Church of The Nazarene in Wintersville, Ohio, at 10 a.m. on May 16, 2013; followed by interment at New Alexandria Cemetery in Ohio.

There will be a lunch served at the church following interment.
